On May 8, 2025, School of International Law CUPL / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law CUPL and the Xicheng District People's Association for Mediation held a signing and unveiling ceremony in Xicheng District to establish a joint practical teaching base. Attending the ceremony were the Secretary of the School Party Committee, Vice Dean, Director of the International Private Law Institute, the Xicheng District Municipal Justice Bureau's Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Bureau Director, Mediation Section Chief, the President, Vice President, Secretary-General, and all members of the Xicheng District People's Association for Mediation.

Professor Li Xinyu, Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Ms. Lü Dan, Party Committee Secretary of the Xicheng District Municipal Justice Bureau, delivered addresses respectively. Subsequently, Secretary Li Xinyu and Mr. Li Xiaobo, President of the Xicheng District People's Association for Mediation, signed the cooperation agreement, and together with Secretary Lü Dan, unveiled the plaque for the practical teaching base.

Following the signing and unveiling ceremony, attendees engaged in interactive exchanges. Both parties look forward to opening a new chapter of in-depth cooperation in areas such as the development of foreign-related legal systems and the cultivation of legal talent.

The establishment of the joint practical teaching base between the School and the Xicheng District People's Association for Mediation not only provides a significant platform for students of the School to enhance their practical abilities but also injects new vitality into the School's education and training of legal talent.
