In a dedicated effort to implement the national strategic plan for strengthening the cultivation of foreign-related legal talent and to motivate students of the university to shoulder the mission of the times, Professor Zhao Wei from School of International Law CUPL / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law CUPL, together with his family and colleagues, has jointly donated to establish the "Zhao Wei Foreign-Related Legal Talent Scholarship." The initial donation amounts to 1 million RMB, reportedly the highest sum donated by an incumbent faculty member of the university to date.
Professor Zhao Wei, a seasoned scholar at the School of International Law / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law, has steadfastly dedicated himself to the front lines of international law teaching and research for four decades, nurturing a significant number of foreign-related legal talents. This scholarship aims to recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic studies, research, practical applications, and moral character, thereby cultivating high-quality reserve talents for China's foreign-related legal endeavors.
