From May 1 to 3, 2025, at the invitation of the University of Havana, young faculty member Li Jiankun from our School attended the "China-Cuba Legal Education and International Rule of Law Talent Seminar" in Cuba. He delivered a speech and participated in discussions focusing on "Cultivating International Cooperation Capabilities of Young Talents." During the event, the Chinese delegation met with the Chinese Embassy in Cuba.Hua Xin, Chinese Ambassador to Cuba, warmly received the delegation. Both sides held extensive exchanges on communication, cooperation, and legal system building marking the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cuba.

From May 4 to 6, 2025, at the invitation of the World Jurist Association, young faculty member Li Jiankun from our School attended the "2025 World Law Congress " in the Dominican Republic. He delivered a speech and participated in forum discussions on the topic of "Digital Rule of Law Construction in Chinese Modernization." During this period, several professors from our university, along with Li Jiankun and other conference attendees, met with the Chinese Embassy in the Dominican Republic. Chen Luning, Chinese Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, warmly received the relevant representatives. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on current hot legal issues between China and some American countries.





In 2025, the Chinese delegation to the World Law Congress was led by Professor Huang Jin, President of the Chinese Society of International Law. The more than twenty delegation members engaged in extensive and in-depth communication with representatives from various countries, effectively addressed concerns raised regarding China's rule of law development, and explored cooperation to establish more platforms and channels for exchange.
