On the afternoon of May 27th, 2025, at 2:00 PM, the 135th lecture of the "International Law Lecture Hall" Chinese series, titled "The Crisis and Restructuring of International Economic Law," was successfully held in Classroom 0512 of the Comprehensive Building on the Haidian Campus. The event was hosted by the School of International Law / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of China University of Political Science and Law. The event invited Professor Du Ming, Deputy Dean of Durham Law School, as the keynote speaker. And Professor Li Juqian delivered the opening remarks.

Professor Du Ming began the lecture with the topic "The Transformation of the International Economic Order Since World War II" and systematically elaborated on the multiple crises that the theory of international economic law is facing.

During the Q&A session, faculty and students engaged in deep discussions on the current state and future of international economic law.

In the concluding remarks, Professor Li Juqian pointed that the lecture profoundly revealed the deep-seated contradictions and opportunities for restructuring within the international economic law system, providing a crucial perspective for understanding the changes in global governance.

The two-hour lecture attracted many faculty and students to engage in and featured lively interactions. The content combined theoretical depth with practical relevance, providing valuable insights for addressing the new challenges of globalization.
