On the afternoon of May 30th, 2025, the School of International Law CUPL / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law CUPL, successfully held the 2025 Youth Forum titled "Chinese Path to Modernization and the Construction of Foreign-Related Legal System" at its Haidian Campus. This marked the first youth forum organized by the school since the establishment of the School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law, and it was also the first time the forum brought together young scholars from seven universities in Beijing for academic exchange.
Professor Li Juqian, Dean of the School of International Law CUPL / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law CUPL, delivered the opening speech.
The forum was divided into two sessions, with each session featuring two panels of presenters. During the forum, thirteen doctoral students from seven universities in Beijing delivered thematic presentations, providing detailed explanations and introductions of their paper topics. They systematically elaborated on their research viewpoints and highlights. The discussants from each panel also contributed insightful comments, offering high praise while providing suggestions for further refinements.
At the conclusion of the forum, Professor Liu Li, Vice Dean of the School of International Law CUPL / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law CUPL, delivered the closing speech. Vice Dean Liu Li expressed her wishes for the young scholars' success in both their academic and professional endeavors.
