To All Students:

Our university has consistently delivered outstanding performances in the "CIETAC Cup" International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "CIETAC Cup"). Since our initial participation, we have claimed the championship title and have frequently secured excellent results such as the second and third place. In 2018, our team won the First Prize in the 16th "CIETAC Cup" competition. In 2022, our team was awarded the Third Prize in the 20th "CIETAC Cup" competition. The following year, the team also received the "Honorable Mention for Applicant's Memorandum" at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (commonly known as the "Vis Moot"), marking the fourth time in nearly seven years that a Chinese mainland university has received an honorable mention for a memorandum. In 2023, our team achieved the national championship in the 21st "CIETAC Cup" competition, with team members winning the "Best Oralist" awards in both the Round of 16 and the Final, representing our best performance since we began participating in the competition.

To select team members for the 2025 "CIETAC Cup" and the early 2026 "Vis Moot" competitions, the specific requirements for candidate selection are announced as follows:

1.Strong oral and written English skills.

2.Solid foundational knowledge of law, strong learning capability, a basic understanding of contract law, and a basic familiarity with laws on international sales of goods (primarily including the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG)) and international commercial arbitration law.

3.Strong sense of enterprising and teamwork spirit, along with sufficient extracurricular time to prepare for the competition.

4.Both postgraduate and undergraduate students from the university are able to apply.
