School of International Law CUPL / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law CUPL Holds the Grand Opening Ceremony and Delivers First Lesson for Class of 2025 Undergraduates-国际法学院

On September 4^th, 2025, the opening ceremony for the Class of 2025 undergraduates of the School of International Law CUPL / School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law CUPL was grandly held in the Liu Huangfa Auditorium on the Changping Campus. The ceremony was attended by Li Xinyu, Secretary of the School's Party Committee; Li Juqian, Dean of the School; Liu Li and Zhang Ling, Vice Deans of the School; Zhou Jialei, Deputy Secretary of the School's Party Committee; Fan Xiaobo, Assistant Dean and Director of the institutes of the International Economic Law; Chen Quanting, Part-time Instructor of the School and Deputy Director of the Bidding, Procurement and Management Office; Li Dapeng, Representative of the Faculty; Zhang Luping, Liu Ziping, Li Jiankun, and Lü Diandian, Representatives of Class Advisors; as well as representatives of administrative and instructor staff, and all undergraduates of the Class of 2025.

At the beginning of the ceremony, all attendees stood for the national anthem, its solemn melody marking the start of the event.

Dean Li Juqian: Encouraged Students with "Three Questions," Urging Them to Strive to Become International Legal Professionals Needed by the New Era.

Faculty Representative Li Dapeng: Provided Guidance on Three Key Abilities to Solidify the Foundation of Legal Studies.

Current Student Representative Chen Xiaotong: Emphasized Diligent Learning and Practical Action to Embark on a New Chapter, Embracing a Global Mindset to Shape the Future.

New Student Representative Sha Yeqi: Writing Youth with Struggle and Bravely Shouldering the Mission of Foreign-Related Rule of Law.

Secretary Li Xinyu: Encouraged Students to Seize "Favorable Timing, Geographical Advantages, and Human Harmony" to Grow into Legal Talents Dedicated to Serving the Country.

During the ceremony, the appointment ceremony for the Class of 2025 undergraduate class advisors was also held, where members of the School's leadership presented letters of appointment to the class advisors.

Following the conclusion of the opening ceremony, Professor Li Juqian, Dean of the School, delivered the first lesson to all incoming students of the Class of 2025. He expressed ardent expectations for the students, hoping they would grow into a Chinese force to devote themselves to "making the world a better place."
